    GRAD NIGHT

    Get ready for an unforgettable night at the Grad Night Party! Grads board the bus and depart at 7:45 pm to the venue following graduation. Grads return to campus by 2:15 am.

    Graduation Speaker Auditions

    Apply to audition to be a speaker/MC at graduation by Thursday, April 16th.

    There are three different opportunities for speaking at graduation. More information about the roles and audition process will be in the application.

    Note: Students interested in auditioning to be the graduation speaker only need to provide a rough draft of the speech in order to audition.

    SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT

    DATE: THURSDAY, MAY 21, 2026

    TIME: 6:00 PM - 8:00PM

    Join us for Senior Awards Night, a special evening dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements of our graduating seniors. This event will highlight the hard work, dedication, and talents of our students, recognizing individuals with awards and scholarships to honor their contributions and successes throughout their high school journey. As we reflect on their accomplishments, we invite families, friends, and faculty to come together in appreciation of the unforgettable experiences and growth that have shaped this senior class. Let’s celebrate the bright futures ahead of our students!

    SENIOR FINALS & CHECKOUT

    Seniors will complete checkout on June 2, 2026 before or following the mandatory graduation review as time permits.

    GRADUATION

    Mandatory Graduation Review

    Tuesday, June 3rd 8:30 - 11:30

    Mandatory Graduation Practice

    Friday, June 6th 8:30 - 11:30

    Students must attend both graduation practices unless they have a sibling graduating from a partner middle school. Contact Mr. Betancur in May if you have a younger sibling that’s graduating this year. 

    There are no tickets for graduation. Families may bring as many guests as they’d like. Seats are first come first serve.
    There will be a short reception following the ceremony hosted by the PTSA.

    Buses for Grad Night will depart ~8:00 PM.

    SENIOR PORTAITS

    Now & Forever Studios in Los Gatos is our partner for senior portraits. The studio provides a drape, tuxedo, or graduation gown at the portrait session. Students can choose to have their photo taken wearing whichever they prefer.

    On-campus senior portraits are scheduled for December 10 from 8:00 am-1:30 pm in the cafeteria - call slips will be sent out, but seniors can show up anytime between 8am - 2pm

    Sessions can also be booked for a separate time:

    Students can book a FREE session by calling the studio directly (408-354-8660) and asking for FREE Senior portrait session.

    The final deadline for senior portraits is December 11.

    Place Order for Cap and Gown

    MVLA will be paying for your cap, gown, and tassel rental. 

    The cap and tassel will be yours to keep.

    We need to receive your order before you leave for the December vacation.

    Easy four step process. 

    Be sure to share the correct height and weight when you place your order.It determines what size gown your receive. We may not be able to find you a new gown at the last minute if you order the incorrect size.
